One of the world’s most beloved classics Beauty and The Beast is retold by the Victorian State Ballet (VSB) in a stunning full-length production of the traditional fairy tale.
Now, the well-known story of love and redemption heads to Performance Arts Culture Cessnock (PACC) for one night only on Friday 12 May at 8pm.
The VSB has a proven track record in Cessnock when it comes to delivering polished productions, having previously toured The Little Mermaid and Cinderella in 2021 and 2022 respectively.
Both shows performed to sell-out crowds at PACC, a feat that Beauty and The Beast looks set to replicate next month.
Featuring classical ballet skill and choreography honouring the spirit of this magical work, this production deftly balances the whimsical with the breathtaking, promising a memorable entertainment experience for the whole family.
The VSB’s Beauty and The Beast features a cast of leading artists from across Australia and abroad.
The choreography is rich with vibrant colour, virtue, sensibility, grace, intrigue and outstanding skill.
VSB’s Beauty and The Beast endeavours to immerse the audience in the fairy tale classic, delivering a profound experience that is exhilarating, impacting and visually inspiring.
Don’t miss out on seeing all your favourite characters plus exhilarating solos and pas de deuxs from the stunning leading couple, the very moving transformation, grand waltz and ultimate happily ever after final scene.
This is classical ballet at its finest.
