SHARE

The Levee Shared Zone, in Central Maitland, is set to transform into a free, all ages party zone with music, tasty bites and refreshing brews later this month, as LIVE at The Levee Street Party returns.

Located in the popular thoroughfare between Bourke and Elgin streets, the Street Party is expected to once again draw crowds as it lights up with weekend vibes.

This month’s event will take place on Saturday 23 March and feature Aberglasslyn-based microbrewery Dusty Miner Craft Brewery.

From 5.30pm to 9.30pm, brewer Stuart Duff and his team will serve up their signature beer at a pop-up bar in the heart of the action.

Duff says they are looking forward to showcasing their award-winning brew.

“I’m excited to be returning to LIVE at The Levee Street Party for another year,” he says.

“The pop-up bar will feature a range of Dusty Miner beer and spirits for attendees to enjoy.”

Dusty Miner Craft Brewery creates a number of popular brews, with flavours ranging from Ginger Beer and Raspberry and Lime Sour to Pale Ale, Red Ale, and Dark Ale, to name a few.

Kick-starting the festivities alongside Duff and his team will be the vibrant tunes of Acacia Blue, a five-piece indie rock band from Newcastle.

Known for their upbeat style, the talented group will take to the stage from 5.30pm.

Aside from brews and tunes, visitors are invited to indulge in delectable treats from some of The Levee’s finest eateries and cafes, including Acacia Dining and CJ’s on The Levee.

“LIVE at The Levee is a popular part of the precinct’s free programming and what better way to enjoy a Saturday night than with some live music, tasty food and drinks,” says Maitland City Council’s senior place activation officer Kara Stonestreet.
