Three girls have been hospitalised following a serious single motor vehicle accident, near Dungog, overnight.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) was tasked by NSW Ambulance to the incident, at Bendolba, about 6pm on Friday 9 December.
Paramedics and the chopper’s Critical Care Medical Team stabilised two girls, believed to be in their late teens.
The pair suffered abdominal injuries and both were airlifted to John Hunter Hospital for further treatment.
A third girl, also in her late teens, was transported by NSW Ambulance to the same hospital.
She’s in a stable condition.
Police inquiries continue.
