SHARE

Their wedding day was something Brooke and Michael had been planning for 18 months.

And, it was the views and the peaceful surrounds that first drew them to Bimbadgen in the Hunter Valley, they craved the relaxed intimate feel they believed it offered.

Congratulations: Hundreds are choosing to hold their wedding at venues across the Hunter Valley

They then committed to using as many local suppliers as they could, opting for those that knew the region best.

The pair relied on the skills of a Newcastle-based photographer, florist, and celebrant.

In the end, they said that was what made the difference, delivering “the perfect day for a once in a lifetime occasion”.

Champagne flowed as Brooke and Michael tied the knot at their Hunter Valley wedding.

From the stroll with their guests around the grounds of Bimbadgen Estate, to their first kiss as husband and wife by the water’s edge, the cascading champagne tower and the perfect Hunter Valley temperatures, the newlyweds were left glowing.

Sealed with a kiss: Becoming Mr & Mrs on the grounds of Bimbadgen Palmers Lane.

Brooke and Michael’s wedding was one of an estimated 25,000 that took place in NSW in 2022.

The Hunter Valley is consistently listed as one of Australia’s most popular wedding destinations because of its renowned vineyards, picturesque backdrops and close proximity to major cities like Newcastle and Sydney.
