Bonza drops 50% off sale to mark a year in our skies

SHARE

Bonza is taking 50% off its fare prices this week to mark 12 months since the low-cost carrier launched its purple fleet in skies above what it colloquially calls Allstralia.

This time last year, the independent airline received a seal of approval from the Civil Aviation Safety Authority (CASA) who granted the carrier its Air Operator Certificate (AOC).

Since then, the brand has undertaken the largest network roll out in Australian aviation history with 38 routes to 21 destinations across five states and territories flying more than 650,000 travellers in 2023.

The four-day sale starts Monday 8 January and ends on Thursday 11 January for travel between 6 Feb – 6 Mar, 13 Mar – 27 Mar, 28 Apr – 19 Jun, 16 Jul – 12 Sep 2024 with the promo code THUMBSUP.

“The competitive landscape in Australian aviation changed for the better when Bonza received its AOC and we continue our Shazza vs Goliath battle to democratise the aviation sector across the country with a promise to deliver low-cost airfares to the many, not the few,” Bonza CEO Tim Jordan said.

“This four-day sale will allow Aussie families and friends to travel to the Northern Territory for less than $75 per person, or head to North Queensland or Tassie for less than $50 per person and we hope our customers take advantage of this positive purple start to 2024.”

Travellers are encouraged to download the Fly Bonza app, which is the only place to book direct.
