Maitland Show

Hosted on Friday 18, Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 February the Regional Australia Bank Maitland Show is celebrating 160 years in 2022.

Star attractions include a rodeo, fireworks, homecraft and horticultural displays, cattle clinic and livestock exhibits, an animal nursery, woodchopping, and more.

Sunday Sessions

Grab a wine or beer and enjoy some local music and artmaking at the Museum of Art and Culture in Lake Macquarie this Sunday 20 February.

Wedding and Wine Festival

Hunter Events is excited to present their third annual Wedding and Wine Festival on Sunday 20 February from 10am-3pm at Dalwood Estate. Everyone is invited to attend and enjoy entertainment, tastings, live demos and more.

The Bath House Garden Open Day

The Bath House Garden is a beautiful private country garden just minutes from Maitland. The peaceful, rustic charm of this seasonal site, flows around a country home and small lake, with both ornamental and productive spaces.

One Sunday a month, the gardens are open to the public. There is no need for a booking just come when it suits and enjoy their beautiful, seasonal garden.

Warners Bay Community Garden working bee

Enjoy a day out in the sun at the Warners Bay Community Garden working bee.

Visitors are more than welcome to attend and tools will be provided.

Broken Chains

On Saturday Wallsend Library will host the Broken Chains Artist Celebration.

Broken Chains seeks to destigmatise being a former prisoner while highlighting what motivated people can accomplish both behind bars and after release.

The exhibition also explores the challenges inmates often face inside, from being denied education to disproportionate sentences. This is your chance to meet the artist and view the exhibition which is on display until 27 February.
