A man suffered serious leg fractures following an accident at Stroud this afternoon.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) was tasked to the location, north of Newcastle, on Sunday 28 February after reports of a crash involving a car and motorcycle on Stroud Road.
A 59-year-old male was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to the Stroud Showground.
They then met with the helicopter crew.
The man was conveyed to the John Hunter Hospital in a stable condition.
