WIN! Children’s book follows everyday adventures

Soldier crabs running, jellyfish floating, pelicans gliding. These are just some of the things you can photograph when you’re out and about during the day.

What photos of native creatures have you taken lately?

Watching through the Day is a sequel to Sydney author Julie Thorndyke’s popular picture book Waiting for the Night. It follows the adventures of a child who has just received a new camera for their birthday. The book’s illustrations were completed by Nandina Vines, who resides in the Hunter Valley. Her work has been heavily influenced by the bushland that surrounds her home and the coast where she grew up.
