Police are appealing to the public for assistance after a shocking incident at the weekend.
A group of cyclists were travelling along the Newcastle Inner City Bypass near Jesmond on Saturday 28 November, when a car hit a member of the group.
Footage shows the vehicle clipping the cyclist, causing several other riders to be thrown from their bikes.
Police are urging anyone with information to come forward.
“The incident has been reported to police and officers have commenced inquiries,” a NSW Police Spokesperson said.
“Anyone with information is urged to come forward.”
