Third time lucky as Human Nature revises Newcastle gig

One of Australia’s premier groups, Human Nature, is hoping it’s a case of third time lucky to perform in Newcastle next year.

The Hall of Fame inductees are rebooting their acclaimed show plans – with an eye on returning to the stage in 2022.

With new dates scheduled at Dubbo, Orange and Wyong, Michael and Andrew Tierney, Phil Burton and Toby Allen will also perform at Newcastle’s Civic Theatre on Friday 22 July, after postponing the 16 September 2021 gig.

The Live 2022 Rebooted – People Get Ready, Again is expected to showcase the very best elements of the Good Good Life and People Get Ready AAA tours into one new, amalgamated performance.

Like so many fellow Aussie artists, Human Nature have had to alter their plans due to the pandemic, keeping the health and safety of their fans and their production as a top priority.

“If COVID-19 has taught us one thing – it’s how to be flexible and patient,” Burton said.

“We have always said we would complete our commitments.

“And, even though it’s taken a little longer than anticipated, we are certain we will get to each and every city and town scheduled on this tour and even hopefully add more dates.

“Third time lucky for some places but we will see you in 2022.

“Thanks to all our fans and music lovers everywhere for sticking with us through the difficult times and look forward to enjoying music and good times again.

“This blended show will represent all our career highlights, song favourites and some surprises.”

Live 2022 Rebooted – People Get Ready, Again sees the iconic foursome up close and personal melding 30 years of performances, stories and hits.

The Tierneys, Burton and Allen will take the audience on a journey through their careers.

“Get ready for a night full of our most loved songs, new and old original hits, Motown classics and much more,” Burton said.

So, don’t miss Telling Everybody, Wishes, Every Time You Cry, Reach Out I’ll Be There, Run Around Sue, and their stunning latest anthem Broken Humans, to name just a few.
