The Wharf Revue returns to PACC with political sketches, songs and more

The masters of mockery and wit, The Wharf Revue, are returning to Cessnock this month with another sensational offering.

The talented quintet of Jonathan Biggins, Mandy Bishop, Drew Forsythe, David Whitney and Michael Tyack will present Pride in Prejudice at Performance Arts Culture Cessnock (PACC) on Tuesday 27 February from 7.30pm.

And, it promises an evening of satirical brilliance and brutal roasting of political figures in this non-stop barrage of musical and sketch comedy.

The Wharf Revue is now a national institution and it just keeps on giving… a sea of hilarity.

With Australia’s most trusted revue-based practitioners – Biggins, Bishop, Forsythe, Whitney and Tyack – on stage, Pride in Prejudice continues the tradition of delivering sharp satire with more than 23 years of experience in the genre.

The production takes many well-known songs and rewrites the lyrics to craft sketches that are not only relevant but also infused with a sharp and witty edge.

Staying true to their signature style, this latest iteration fearlessly spares no one; Joe Biden, Peter Dutton, Anthony Albanese, King Charles and Jacquie Lambie.

With astonishingly accurate physical and vocal observations, adeptly imitating and parodying a diverse array of public figures, The Wharf Revue team showcases its steely best.

Brace yourselves for what might just be their most monumental and exceptional show to date.

Even Costa makes an appearance in The Wharf Revue’s latest show, Pride in Prejudice.

Tickets are on sale at the PACC Box Office, by phone on 4993 4266 or online at

As The Canberra Times puts it: “A night of uproarious laughter and cheeky hilarity by (the) stunningly talented Wharf Revue”.

Or, “If laughter is the best medicine, this show should be on the PBS… sharper and more incisive than ever,” says Megaphone Oz.
