With hits like I Get Up, Forever You and Me, So Caught Up and Crying Shame, The Teskey Brothers need no introduction.
But, Australia’s most soulful siblings are sure to increase their fan base when they take part in A Day On The Green in 2024.
Sam and Josh Teskey will perform at Bimbadgen Estate on Saturday 18 January, with special guests US indie rockers Band of Horses, Americana folk artist Sierra Ferrell, Irish singer-songwriter CMAT and multi-instrumentalist Charlie Needs Braces.
After spending most of 2024 playing headline shows across the US, UK and Europe, as well as gigs including Bonnaroo and the Wilderness Festival, the five-time ARIA winners’ triumphant return promises to be a magical and memorable occasion.
Tickets go on sale on Thursday 27 June at noon via Ticketmaster.

The Teskey Brothers have captured the hearts of music fans with their soul-drenched take on rock, folk and blues across three studio albums, with their captivating performances striking an undeniable chord with music lovers around the world.
The band’s third offering, 2023’s The Winding Way, debuted at number one on the ARIA charts and won the ARIA Award for Best Blues and Roots album and Best Record at this year’s Rolling Stone Australia Awards.
The songwriting partnership of Sam and Josh is a rare musical gem, seamlessly blending soul and blues, embracing the timeless essence of Motown, while crafting a unique musical identity distinctly their own.
“After many months on tour overseas, we are excited to be bringing the show home for this very special A Day On The Green run in January,” the latter said,
“To make it a full day’s affair, it’s a huge thrill to host some of our favourite acts from around the world, too.
“We’re honoured to be joined by the epic Band of Horses, Nashville legend Sierra Ferrell, always excited to see CMAT and our local favourite Charlie Needs Braces.”
With hits like The Funeral, Laredo and No One’s Gonna Love You – and three ARIA Top 30 albums – Band of Horses has garnered a loyal following in Australia since first touring in 2006.
Originally from Seattle, their early records saw them become one of the most prominent indie rock bands of the era, with their 2010 LP Infinite Arms nominated for a Grammy.
Known for their dynamic sound, evocative lyrics and compelling performances, their songs have become anthems and touchstones for fans.
Also gracing the stage will be the mesmerising Sierra Ferrell whose genre-blending style has captivated audiences worldwide and made her one of the most in-demand musicians right now.
With her distinctive enchanting voice, vintage sound and eclectic mix of country, folk, Americana and blues, her performance will leave audiences spellbound.
Making a very welcome return to Australia, Ferrell’s last tour in 2022 saw her sell out shows across the country.
On tour in the US with country superstar Zach Bryan, their powerful duet Holy Roller has amassed 46 million streams on Spotify alone.
Her latest album Trail Of Flowers shows why Ferrell is being hailed by Rolling Stone as “one of country and roots music’s most fascinating and fast-rising artists”.
Adding to the stellar line-up is charismatic Irish singer-songwriter, CMAT (Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson).
This rising star’s unique blend of indie-pop and country has propelled her to prominence since her 2022 debut, If My Wife New I’d Be Dead, which won the Choice Music Award for Irish Album of the Year.
Her powerful performances and clever songwriting have made her a distinctive voice in contemporary music, with her latest album Crazymad, For Me earning her nominations for a Brit Award and the prestigious Ivor Novello Award for Best Album.
With superstar fans like Elton John and Robbie Williams singing her praises, CMAT has captured the attention of the music world and, with her full band in tow, will no doubt captivate crowds at her first-ever Australian shows.
Rounding it all up is Australian singer Charlie Needs Braces, a solo project for Naarm-based musician Charlie Woods, featuring looping and original compositions.
A proud Guringai woman, Woods’ uplifting and energetic music weaves together stories, language and layered harmonies, creating a truly distinctive musical experience.
In 2023, he was awarded the Archie Roach Foundation Award for Emerging Talent through Music Victoria.
