Stockland Green Hills has launched a new program, which will provide a safe, fun space for young people to bond.
The Stockland Youth Collective (SYC) is an innovative initiative designed to support and empower youngsters across the Hunter through connection, creativity, and community.
Carefully planned with adolescent wellbeing in mind, it uses games, imagination and shared experiences to take the pressure off conversations and help young people connect naturally.

Created as a safe and welcoming space within a busy retail environment, the SYC offers free, accessible activities that foster social relationships.
As the region continues to grow, the program responds to increasing concerns around youth isolation, social disconnection and mental wellbeing in a post-pandemic context by delivering meaningful opportunities for engagement beyond school and screen time.
And, for families in the Newcastle-Hunter area, the initiative strengthens the shopping centre’s role as a vital community hub.
It supports young people’s mental health and encourages positive social interaction in a supervised setting.
The Stockland Youth Collective brings together gaming, creative workshops and collaborative activities designed to build organic connections among participants.

Best of all, the program is delivered in partnership with trusted local organisations including UP&UP, PCYC, NSW Police Youth officers, Youth Off The Streets and Carrie’s Place.
“With the assistance of experienced youth workers and community partners, parents can feel confident their children are participating in safe, structured and enriching activities,” a spokesperson said.
“From gaming consoles to team-based creative projects, the Stockland Youth Collective is offering a dynamic environment to allow young people to connect, create and, most importantly, thrive.”
