A new Newcastle waterfront venue, St Lucia takes its inspiration from the vibrant food culture of South America.
And, it’ll bring the taste and energy of Peru, Colombia, Chile, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil right to your plate.
It’s the latest venture from the Risteski group.
After the ongoing success of Blanca Honeysuckle, owner Garry Risteski continues to create options to grow with the city’s changing tastes.
“Newcastle’s hospitality scene is evolving quickly,” he said.
“And, we want to be part of pushing that forward.
“With St Lucia, we sought to create something energetic and immersive.
“We wanted a place where the heat of the grill, the rhythm of the music and the vibrancy of Latin culture all come together to provide a night that unfolds naturally.”

The restaurant is about more than just quality drinks and food.
At St Lucia, you are greeted with an atmosphere of rhythm and DJ-driven sound that lets you move from dining to dancing with ease.
With flame-grilled meats at the heart of it all, there’s a terrific array of smoky char-grill flavours and spices throughout the menu.
You can expect a smack-in-the-face boldness through their ceviche, crisp tostadas and empanadas.
It’s moreish, bold and designed for sharing.
Staying true to their inspiration, South American wines feature on the drinks’ list with mezcal, rum and tequila bringing colour to the cocktails.
From plates to artwork, the interior of the restaurant celebrates the vibrance and variety of its South American influence with each detail personally selected to bring it all to life.
Located in the heart of Honeysuckle, St Lucia is sure to add spice Newcastle’s dining scene.
