Seven teenagers have been charged following pursuits throughout Newcastle and the Hunter Valley this week.

About 2.30am on Monday 26 February, police attempted to stop a Hyundai Santa Fe and a BMW X1 – both believed to have been stolen – on Minmi Road, Cameron Park.

A pursuit was re-engaged.

Road spikes were deployed… and the vehicle came to a stop at Sandy Hollow where seven teens were arrested.

The youngsters – aged between 13 and 16 – were taken to Muswellbrook Police Station.
