Saturday sale to help women Dress for Success

Bargain hunters can help a woman prepare for a better 2021 this weekend.

By purchasing items at the Dress for Success Pop-up Boutique and Basics Sale, shoppers will help ease the living expenses of women in need across Newcastle.

The not-for-profit charitable group, which provides workwear for women free of charge, has a surplus of quality boutique and basics wear they will be selling at bargain prices.

Newcastle Team of Dress for Success Sydney spokesperson Heidi Adnum said the sale was a win-win for all involved.

“The community has donated some beautiful, high-quality preloved clothes that are just not quite right for job interviews but still in excellent condition,” she said.

“There’s some amazing boutique labels that will all be under $50, as well as plenty of basics like jeans and joggers, and they will all be $2 each.”

Ms Adnum said the sale would adhere to COVID-19 regulations, meaning timed shopping sessions would be practiced, as well as restricted numbers permitted in each session.

“The sale starts at 9am but sessions need to be booked before-hand,” she said.

“There will be plenty of bargains and every dollar made goes to continuing our services supporting local women in need.”
