Roll up for a comedic holiday treat

Children of all ages throughout the Hunter are in for a real treat next month.

Terrace Central will host the exciting Upsized Comedy Science Show while nearby Maitland Riverside Plaza is scheduled to stage the world-class Comedy Circus Show – both completely free.

The Raymond Terrace shopping centre plans to present two 60-minute performances a day, pending COVID-19 restrictions, from Monday 18 January until Friday 22 January.

Set to inspire and entertain those little scientists these school holidays, think liquid nitrogen explosions, colourful chemical eruptions, carbon dioxide mini rockets, flying toilet paper, levitating beach balls and a few more surprises.

The entertainment will be provided by Science Safari, who specialises in offering curious kids the opportunity to learn more about the national world throughout science experiments and help them understand the study of physics and chemistry.

Having performed shows at both the University of NSW ASPIRE and Australian Museum Science Festival and National Science Week, it’s sure to be a hit.

Bookings are now available for the Upsized Comedy Science Show at www.terracecentralsc.com, with every ticket to an exclusive food court discount.

Meanwhile, Maitland Riverside Plaza will oversee two 45-minute shows a day from Saturday 16 January until Wednesday 20 January.

Skilled stuntman Joel Fenton will climb inside a balloon, juggle chainsaws, squeeze through a toilet seat and ride a huge unicycle.

He has spent 20 years performing for crowds of up to 80,000 people internationally, keeping them on the edge of their seats with his crazy antics.

This incredible stunt man has enacted his show on television in Australia, United States, Belgium, United Kingdom and other countries.
