Motorists are advised of changed overnight traffic conditions from next week on Myall Road at Kotara and on the Hexham Bridge, Hexham.
Transport for NSW will carry out work from Monday 15 March, including routine maintenance and inspections.
To minimise impact to motorists, work will be carried out between 7pm and 5am in Kotara from Monday to Sunday and 8pm to 5am in Hexham from Monday to Thursday, weather permitting.
On Myall Road lane closures and a 40km/h speed limit will be in place during work hours and may impact travel times.
The southbound lanes on Hexham Bridge will be closed while work is carried out and motorists will be diverted onto the northbound bridge, which will have one lane operating in each direction.
Closure of the pedestrian footpath will also be required, with traffic control on site to ensure safe escort of pedestrians across the bridge while work is carried out.
Boaters are advised the Hexham Bridge will not open to marine traffic during work hours.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions at both locations, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
