Unforgettably crunchy, succulent and juicy – Red Rooster’s crunchy fried chicken is satisFRYing customers in Newcastle and the Central Coast, which have been among the very first restaurants to trial this new menu innovation.

Your favourite Aussie chicken shop launched the unexpected and super delicious addition to its roast chicken menu in selected Red Rooster stores earlier this year.

Red Rooster’s food boffins scoured the world’s most successful and innovative chicken shops for mouth-watering ideas and food inspiration.

They did a lot of research and development, with an emphasis on innovation, taste, crunch, and craveability. 

The end result? Red Rooster’s Crunchy Fried Chicken is unlike any chicken tasted before.

Fresh chicken (not frozen), brined in restaurant for a minimum of 12 hours, and then hand battered in a bespoke crunchy coating that is exclusive to Red Rooster. 

Finally, it’s cooked to order and to perfection until it’s crunchy and golden on the outside and moist and deliciously juicy on the inside.

Red Rooster’s Crunchy Fried Chicken is prepared daily with pride, passion, and care.

Crunchy fried chicken is currently available at Hunter-based stores in Waratah (Turton Road and Georgetown Road); Thornton (Weakleys Drive); Glendale (Main Road and Frederick Street); and Kurri Kurri (Main Street, Heddon Greta).
