Product recall: Big Love Co — Dummy Chain

The ACCC has issued an urgent recall on a popular baby product after tests revealed it does not comply with national safety standards.

Users of the Big Love Co Babies’ Dummies and Dummy Chains are being asked to dispose of or destroy the product to avoid any unnecessary harm.

The recall applies to products sold by Big Love Co between 1 February 2021 and 4 July 2021.

The ACCC has declared the product does not comply with mandatory standard Consumer Goods Safety Standard 2017.

The beads, the agency says, may loosen and detach from the product, posing a choking or suffocation hazard for young children.

Consumers are advised to immediately stop using the product, dispose of or destroy the product, and contact Big Love Co to arrange for a full refund.

Consumers will be asked to provide a photograph to show that the product has been disposed of or destroyed.

If the product has already been disposed of or destroyed, consumers are asked to notify Big Love Co so that the safe disposal of the products can be monitored.

For more information consumers can contact Big Love Co directly.
