Presenter to appear at luncheon

Television presenter Edwina Bartholomew will spearhead the 51st annual Maitland and Black and White Committee luncheon.

Ms Bartholomew, a host on Channel Seven’s Sunrise program, is set to address more than 400 people as a guest speaker when the charity event takes place on Tuesday 9 April at the Maitland Showground.

Apart from Sunrise, she has also been a part of some of the network’s biggest sporting events and entertainment shows.

During her talk, Ms Bartholomew will provide an insight into what life is like on the road as a reporter and presenter.

The luncheon raises money for the Hunter division of Vision Australia, contributing towards additional support and services for people with vision impairments around the region.

This year’s event will be hosted by local identity Brett Lavaring.

Tickets cost $90, which includes s three-course lunch and drinks.
