Police are appealing for public assistance in relation to an armed robbery at Jewells last month, releasing an image of a man who they believe may be able to assist with inquiries.
Officers attached to Lake Macquarie Police District were called to a licensed premises on Ntaba Road about 3pm on Tuesday 25 March following several reports.
They then received information that an unknown male forced his way into the premises with a broken glass bottle before he stole an amount of cash and left the scene.
A crime scene was established and an investigation into the incident began.
Now, police are seeking help from the community.
They’d like to speak to a man, described as being of Caucasian appearance, of medium build, with short hair and beard, seen wearing grey track pants and black shoes.
