ARIA nominated concert pianist Van-Anh Nguyen will perform at a special ‘Piano and Prosecco’ event at Vamp Wine Room next month.
Hosted by fourth generation winemaker and Hunter Valley icon Lisa McGuigan, the intimate evening promises to be a spellbinding mix of great food, wine and music on 22 March.
Los Angeles-based Australian concert pianist Van-Anh Nguyen was nominated in 2022 for her children’s album, The Princess and the Piano, with her 2020 offering, Peaceful Piano Essentials, reaching number one on the ARIA classical album charts.
While she is best known for her classic playing, she’s also encouraging a new generation of listeners thanks to her ability to bridge genres in her creative musical arrangements.
Expect story telling through sound with performances of Chopin through to Coldplay, Mozart to Madonna, ABBA done with a tango twist, epic film soundtracks of Hans Zimmer and much more.
McGuigan’s Vamp Wine Room will be turned into an enchanting twilight garden to bring a magical atmosphere to this one-of-a-kind night out.
“This event is a celebration of everything Vamp stands for – elegance, creativity, and unforgettable experiences,” says the host on what guests can expect on the night.
“The combination of our Prosecco, a stunning garden atmosphere, and Van-Anh’s incredible talent will make for an extraordinary evening.”
Guests will be greeted with a glass of Lisa’s Prosecco on arrival and served light, decadent canapés while Van-Anh performs.
It all begins at 6pm in Vamp Wine Rooms in Pokolbin and the strictly limited tickets cost $150 per person.
