Cessnock’s art scene is about to get a serious upgrade with Performance Arts Culture Cessnock (PACC) officially launching its 2026 season.
The centre will host dazzling performances, tribute shows, exhibitions and events for everyone next year.
But, the live presentations’ line-up promises something for all tastes.
Families can enjoy Aladdin by The Victorian State Ballet, a magical tale brought to life through stunning dance.
Watch the breathtaking dance and percussion spectacular, Water Mirror, a display that combines movement and rhythm in a mesmerizing display.
Later in the year, Nathan Foley takes the stage in Unforgettable, a celebration of hits from the 50s and 60s.
Local performers will join nationally-recognised artists throughout the year, keeping PACC true to its mission of showcasing creativity at every level.
Art-lovers can explore a series of bold and inspiring exhibitions in the PACC Art Gallery, too.
Theres always something to discover, including contemporary works, thought-provoking installations and intimate regional collections.
Best of all, entry is free, making it easy to drop in and soak up some culture.

Film enthusiasts are also covered, with a regular cinema program delivering affordable screenings to the community year-round.
“Our 2026 program design is beautifully inspired by elements of Cessnock’s past and the rich history of arts in our local region,” PACC curator Vicki Sienczuk said.
“It’s a joyous reflection of the stories, creativity and community that have shaped who we are.
“We welcome our loyal members, returning patrons, first-time visitors and those joining us from afar.”
With so many shows and events expected to sell fast, early booking is essential.
“It has been a pleasure introducing new and exciting genres of theatre to our patrons over 17 years, many of whom I now call friends,” Sienczuk said.
“Our team looks forward to sharing many memorable experiences with you in 2026.”
