A Newcastle woman was lost for words after learning she’d won a massive payday in this week’s Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot.
The Novocastrian held the first prize winning entry in draw 1752 on Friday 9 January.
She now looks forward to a neat $200,000 windfall.
“Oh, my goodness! Oh wow!” the local resident said after an official from The Lott confirmed her bounty.
“Sorry I went mute there for a second.
“I’m just a bit stunned by it all.
“I need to try and get my thoughts together.
“I was just in between doing some jobs when I saw your attention text message… and I checked my tickets straight away.
“Now I’m on the phone to you.”
Despite the initial shock, the woman has already compiled a “to-do” list.
“It’s going to boost our travel fund, that’s for sure,” she said.
“There are so many places I want to explore and now we’ll be able to.
“Gosh, it’s going to be hard to work for the rest of the day.
“Thank you so much.”
Her winning entry of four random numbers was purchased via The Lott ap.
The Lucky Lotteries Mega Jackpot prize is now $21.04 million for draw 1753.
