The Newcastle Jets’ 2026/2027 A-League campaign is set to get off to a flying start with a huge F3 Derby.
The A-League Men’s fixtures for the upcoming season were announced this week, and the reigning premiers will kick off the season against Central Coast Mariners at Polytec Stadium on Saturday, October 17.
The Jets will, no doubt, be looking for a repeat of their last clash against the Mariners, which ended in a convincing 4-0 victory.
Newcastle will also host two of the three F3 Derby matches, with the Mariners travelling to Newcastle on January 23 and ANZAC Day (April 25).
The Jets’ first home appearance for the season will be in round two against the Macarthur Bulls before a round-three home clash against Wellington Phoenix.
The Wellington clash will be the final home game for the Jets in 2026, who will then head into a five-week-long hiatus, thanks to two split rounds and FIFA international windows.
It will then be a five-week away stretch for the Jets, where they will take on Perth Glory, Melbourne Victory, Adelaide United, and Western Sydney Wanderers.
However, hometown fans can look forward to a massive eight-game home stretch throughout January and February, starting with an anticipated Round 12 clash against defending champions Auckland on January 9.
They will also play host to Melbourne City (January 19), the Mariners (January 23), Melbourne Victory (January 30), Perth Glory (February 5), Brisbane Roar (February 13), and Adelaide United (February 21).
The home stretch run will be rounded out with a clash against Western Sydney Wanderers on February 26.
