Newcastle’s Brittney Saunders will step into the keynote speaker role at a free function supporting local businesses in Singleton.

The FAYT The Label founder is slated to share her tips to success, innovative ways to do things differently and creating new revenue streams at this year’s Reimagine Regional Business event, between 9.30am and 12.30pm, at the Singleton Civic Centre on Wednesday 28 August.

One of the country’s most influential social media influencers, who’s known for her impactful online presence, the young entrepreneur can also offer advice on how to stay ahead of the curve and grow in the digital age.

The program includes a panel discussion, too, featuring Bee Innovative founder and chief technology officer Kate Lyall, Spewy managing director Jo Hardie and Morgan Engineering general manager Jeremy Brett.

Facilitated by LaunchPad 9 director Claire Quigley, they’ll discuss why there’s never been a better time to learn how innovation and digital technology can transform your business.

The event is a key initiative in a suite of economic programs funded by the NSW Government’s Resources for Regions being delivered by Singleton Council in partnership with Business Singleton.

“Our partnership is assisting local businesses to meet the challenges of and find opportunities in the changing economic conditions of the region,” council’s director organisation and community capacity Vicki Brereton said.

“Reimagine Regional Business aims to encourage people to think about how they can leverage prospects such as the Singleton Bypass, transitioning energy markets, new development and infrastructure, trends, and technology to reach more customers and deliver their products or services in new ways.

“Innovation is the focus of this year’s event.

“So, those who head along will hear high-level business insights, inspirational success stories, practical tips and innovative techniques that they can implement themselves to help their businesses grow.

“We’re fortunate to have Brittney Saunders join us.

“I’m sure she’ll inspire everyone with the way she has used social media to connect with customers.”
