A new-look committee will lead the Newcastle Business Club as it enters its 92nd year of operation.
Beginning in 2025, a hall of fresh faces will be appointed to organisation, reflecting a strong blend of experience and renewed perspective.
While several members are returning from 2024, Karin McIver, Domonic Riley and Andrew Licata are welcomed additions to the team.
Incoming president Matthew Taylor admitted he was enthusiastic about the year ahead.
“The Newcastle Business Club has a proud 92-year history of fostering connection, collaboration and leadership within our business community,” he said.
“As we head into 2025, I look forward to building on our success by delivering even more engaging events, strengthening networks between members, and highlighting the innovation and growth occurring in Newcastle and beyond.
“It’s an honour to lead this dedicated team of professionals who share a passion for driving positive impact.”
Past president and returning participant Holly Martin will also celebrate a milestone, marking an incredible 20 years of service with the club.
Since 1933, the organisation has supported and connected the business community across Newcastle and the Hunter region.
Incoming vice-president Sam Rykers shared his excitement for the new position.
“I’m thrilled to step into this role and work alongside our incredible committee as we continue to serve our members and create opportunities for collaboration, learning and growth,” he said.
“The Newcastle Business Club has a trusted reputation for bringing people together.
“And, 2025 will be no different as we celebrate our 92nd year with renewed focus and energy.”
