Maitland City Council has unveiled its new dates and locations for the popular Street Eats program in 2021.
The mouth-watering treat boasts a range of food trucks and live music in some of the best spots the city has to offer.
Street Eats will take place at Walka Water Works for the first time this Sunday 21 March from noon until 3pm; and at Telarah Lagoon on Sunday 18 April between 11am and 3pm.
Further dates are scheduled for Wallis Creek Park in Gillieston Heights on Friday 9 April; RH Taylor Reserve in Lorn on Sunday 16 May; Bakers Brickyard in Raworth on Friday 28 May; and Whitewater Park in Chisholm on Friday 18 June.
“We are so pleased with how well Street Eats has been received by the community and the great variety of food on offer,” council’s senior place activation officer Portia Wendt said.
“The Street Eats at Telarah Lagoon will also make up part of the 100 years of Rotary Celebrations, with the Rutherford Telarah Rotary food van in attendance.”
A comprehensive COVID-19 Safety Plan will be in place for all council-hosted events and activities.
Council will continue to monitor and adhere to the advice from the federal and state governments, including any variation or modification of the public health orders.
Street Eats is a Maitland City Council Place Activation initiative.
