Morpeth psychic wins international award

A Morpeth-based psychic has been handed international recognition for her work.

Kim T Willis has owned the Swan Street based counselling service, The Morpeth Psychic, for the past two-and-half years.

Originating from Sydney’s Castle Hill, she has now called the Hunter Region home for two decades.

Ms Willis, who has over 30 years’ experience as a psychic reader, said no two days were the same in her job.

“We cover absolutely everybody from all walks of life, we deal on a daily basis,” she said.

“I love doing the face-to-face with people – I have my offices here in Morpeth, but I also do all of the internet stuff as well so, with COVID, that’s put a wonderful spin on everything.

“It changed systems a little bit, but I’m learning my new technologies, and I’m getting there.”

Ms Willis is a master in Reiki – a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.

It’s based on the idea that an unseen life force energy flows through us and is what causes us to be alive.

In January, Ms Willis picked up the 2020 International Psychic Association’s Psychic of the Year: People’s Choice Award.

She added it was lovely to receive the recognition for her work.

“It was absolutely awesome, it was actually a global award, so it means that everybody that I’ve been dealing with during COVID as well, they all put in their two cents worth, and it was really lovely to get that sort of recognition” she said.
