A man has been hospitalised after sustaining burns from a welding accident in the Upper Hunter on Tuesday night.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Muswellbrook about 8.30pm on 22 July.
On its arrival, the chopper’s critical care medical team and local paramedics treated the male, believed to be in his 30s, for severe injuries to his hands and back.
He was then transported to the Royal North Shore Hospital.
