A man in his 70s is believed to have fallen several metres from a cliff near Merewether Baths on Friday afternoon.
At about 2.35pm on 28 February, emergency services were called to a site off Henderson Parade, following reports of an incident.
Upon arrival, NSW Paramedics found a male had fallen from a cliff onto a rock face below.

He was reported to have sustained head and limb injuries from the incident.
NSW Fire and Rescue (NSWFR) crews worked for nearly two hours to move the man to safety on Merewether Beach.
A spokesperson from NSW Ambulance said a Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service (WRHS) chopper was present at the scene but not used.
From there, paramedics transported the injured male via ambulance to John Hunter Hospital.
It is unknown whether he is in a serious condition.
