A man has been charged with murder over the stabbing death of another man in Sydney’s inner west.
Police found the victim with multiple wounds to his upper body after being called to Marrickville shortly after midday on Friday.
He died at the scene.
Police then launched an operation in the neighbouring suburb of Dulwich Hill. A 62-year-old man was arrested and taken to hospital under police guard.
The man was charged with murder on Tuesday. He was refused bail during a bedside hearing.
He is due before Newtown Local Court on September 28.
