Man charged over alleged sexual touching at Lake Mac


A man is set to face court over two sexual touching incidents following an investigation by Lake Macquarie Detectives.

Police will allege that the women, both aged in their 40s, were sexually touched without consent by the male on separate occasions at Wallsend and Fennel Bay respectively last month.

Following extensive inquiries, officers arrested a 45-year-old man on Mitchell Street, North Rothbury, about 7.50am on Thursday 21 March.

He was taken to Singleton Police Station where he was charged with two counts of sexually touch another person without consent, and break and enter and commit serious indictable offence.

The man was refused bail to appear before Singleton Local Court on Friday 22 March.
