Lorn, Maitland businesses band together in the name of ‘mum’

SHARE

Businesses throughout Lorn and Maitland are joining forces to help spoil your mum this Mother’s Day.

So, if you’re stuck for an idea or two, don’t fret.

Lorn is well-known for its boutique, intimate ventures who can tailor to your every need including skin and hair care, creative outlets, fine chocolate makers and a taste of the vineyards.

Combine these with a business owner who wants to grow the town’s community and you’ve got the perfect gift for the perfect mum.

It’s also the first collaboration between the participating endeavours – Specialist Skin Solutions, Muse Kitchen Lorn, Myrtle and Pepper Fine Chocolate, Katachi Hair Design, Lissome Gym Maitland and Creative Queen Bees.

The six have each contributed products and vouchers totalling more than $900 worth of goodies inside the single hamper to be won.

Specialist Skin Solutions owner Dr Bernard Beldholm wanted to focus on working together with the immediate business community around his clinic.

“Supporting locals has never been more important with COVID-19 as a lingering factor,” he said.

“We wanted to team up with our local business community and bring something special and fun to the local mums.

“And, you can’t go wrong with Lorn businesses.”

The hamper includes a free skin analysis and LED session plus a skincare starter kit from Specialist Skin Solutions; a $100 gift voucher and hair care products from Katachi Salon; award-winning choccies from Myrtle and Pepper Fine Chocolate; a breakfast for two from Muse Kitchen Lorn; a painting and “Daily acts of creativity” book from Creative Queen Bees; and a Lissome Gym fitness pack.

The competition is open to anyone with a Facebook or Instagram account.

It closes at noon this Friday 7 May with the winning entrant drawn at 3pm that same day.

How do you enter?
