Next year the state government plans to give every eligible adult $100 worth of vouchers in a bid to stimulate the economy.
The Out & About Scheme was announced after the release of the budget yesterday (Tuesday 17 November).
Through the program if you are a NSW resident aged 18 and over you will be able to access four $25 digital vouchers.
The vouchers can be used at participating businesses and venues that are registered as COVIDSafe.
It is hoped the vouchers will inject new energy into the economy, help businesses doing it tough and encourage employment.
The scheme has been divided into two categories, dining out and going out.
Two of the vouchers can be used to buy food at venues such as restaurants, cafes, pubs and clubs and the other two can be spent on activities such as visiting cultural institutions, performing arts, cinemas and amusement parks.
To access these vouchers all you need is a MyServiceNSW account.
More details about participating venues will be released in the coming weeks. If your business would like to be involved in the scheme go to the NSW Government’s website for more information.
