Hunter police areappealing for information after several motorbikes and equipment were stolen from a motorcycle dealer at Morisset this week.
It’s understood two people forced entry into the store on Alliance Avenue, through a wall, between 1.30am and 6am on Monday 8 May.
Police were told the duo took five Yamaha motorbikes and riding equipment including helmets, gloves, goggles and kitbags, before leaving in a grey ute.
Officers from Lake Macquarie Police District attended the scene and began inquiries into the incident.
Investigators have now released CCTV images of two people and a grey ute seen in the area at the time and believe they, and the driver, can assist them with their investigation.
As inquiries continue, police urge anyone with information or CCTV footage to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
