Firefighters rescue person trapped in car

SHARE

Firefighters from Morisset have rescued someone from their motor vehicle after it collided with a tree in Silverwater overnight.

The Fire and Rescue NSW crew arrived at Silverwater Road just after 7pm yesterday (Wednesday 27 October) to find the accident had trapped the person inside the car.

The resident was extricated by firefighters and given to the care of NSW Ambulance.

NSW Police and NSW RFS were also in attendance.

Superintendent Scott Dodson said it was a timely reminder that calling Triple Zero (000) for an emergency can be the difference between life and death.
