Hunter motorists are being urged to stay vigilant while driving in the Singleton CBD this afternoon, thanks to a malfunctioning set of traffic lights.
The affected location, which intersects Ryan Avenue, links the town’s main thoroughfare John Street to the busy Putty Road and onto the Golden Highway.
Thousands of vehicles utilise that stretch of road each day.
At about 5pm on Saturday 28 November, the faulty signals were still causing a bit of confusion.
Following a couple of near-misses, involving trucks and cars, motorists are advised to remain patient and be courteous towards other drivers.
It’s believed Transport for NSW is aware of the problem.
