A 92-year-old woman has died following a two-vehicle crash in Swansea on Wednesday, 26 August.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Rawson and Pelican streets about 12.05pm after reports of a multi-vehicle crash.
Officers from Lake Macquarie Police District attended and found a Subaru SUV and Toyota utility had collided.
The front passenger of the Subaru, a 92-year-old woman, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to John Hunter Hospital in a critical condition.
Police have since been informed she died in hospital.
The 67-year-old female driver of the Subaru was also taken to John Hunter Hospital for assessment.
The 36-year-old male driver of the Toyota was not injured and was taken to Belmont Hospital for mandatory testing.
Police have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
