Performances, boat races, a range of food markets, car shows, roving entertainment, and kids’ activities are set to light up some of the LGA’s most popular foreshores.

Warners Bay Foreshore, Rathmines Foreshore and Speers Point Park will come alive with festivities from 10am to 4pm.

SATURDAY 14 October

An impressive weekend line-up of super boats, in which drivers will reach speeds up to 240km per hour, begins on Saturday with timed races from 10.30am.

They’ll take off from Marmong Point Marina with the best viewing points at Warners Bay Foreshore between 1pm and 3.30pm.

Did you know powerboats can move from 0-100km/h in less than two seconds?

When the action is finished on the water, MAP mima at Speers Point Park will come alive with the tunes of Skunkhour for three hours from 5pm to 8pm.

The legendary band will be supported by SF Wrens, both performing live at one of Lake Macquarie’s most impressive evening venues.

Bring a picnic blanket and food and enjoy a night of live music as MAP mima lights up the night.

Fast and Loud: Skunkhour and SF Wrens will perform at MAP mima from 5pm to 9pm.
