Lake Macquarie’s annual Dobell Festival is back for 2026, celebrating the legacy of renowned Australian artist Sir William Dobell.
Taking place from 30 May to 30 June, the extravaganza brings a packed month of art, music and creativity to the region.
This year’s program spans exhibitions, live performances, workshops and community events.
With activities spread across galleries, libraries and theatres, there is something for everyone this winter.
“Through the Dobell Festival, we inspire people of all ages to explore, create and connect – building a vibrant cultural future grounded in artistic expression,” Lake Macquarie City Council’s coordinator lifelong learning and engagement Roxana Olivares said.
