Newcastle West could soon welcome another big commercial development.

Locally-based Altim Property has lodged a DA with City of Newcastle (CN) for its latest project located at 69 Parry Street.

Titled Key West, it marks the group’s third venture in the burgeoning precinct.

“We’re very excited to submit the development application for 69 Parry Street,” Altim Property director Ian Summers said.

“Newcastle West continues to grow into a highly-desirable CBD zone… and we are huge believers in this story.

“With this being our third site now in the pipeline, we are confident in the area’s potential for success.

“We look forward to working closely with local authorities and stakeholders to bring this vision to life.”

Spanning an impressive floor area of 1,611 square metres, Altim Property envisions the adaptive reuse of the space to create 12 premium commercial office suites, ranging from 84 to 407 square metres, including one large 407sqm ground-floor unit.

They will feature mezzanine levels in select units, as well as an undercover car park and a striking courtyard atrium.

The development also offers 30 on-site car parks and abundant nearby on-street parking.

Located in a prime café and retail strip, it provides businesses with a perfect blend of accessibility on a quiet street.

And, just 300m from the Newcastle Interchange, it’s strategically positioned to meet the needs of modern enterprises.

Commercial Collective Newcastle has been appointed as sales and marketing agents of the exciting new opportunity, with the campaign being led by director Jared Harris and associate director Sarah Willcox.

“This project represents a significant opportunity in Newcastle West,” Commercial Collective CEO Dane Crawford said.

“Ventures such as Key West demonstrate Altim Property’s continuing commitment to supplying premium small strata offices that allow companies to own their own workspaces.”
