Aussie icon Chris Hemsworth has again been spotted in the Hunter, with two Muswellbrook residents lucky enough to meet the star in Gundy, near Scone.
Hemsworth was at the Linga Longa Inn for lunch.
The Newcastle Weekly broke the news of Hemsworth landing at Scone Airport yesterday morning.
Laura Symington was one of the lucky locals to chat to the star and says he is one of the nicest people she has met.
“I was really nervous to talk to him at first but once we went up to him and said hello he just took my phone and recorded a video we wanted for my family and neighbours and took some photos with us,” she says.
Laura was joined by her neighbour Kari Pritchard, who says Hemsworth was just as genuine as she thought he would be.
“He’s a really nice, genuine guy,” she says.
“I am so excited that I got to meet him.”
Hemsworth, who lives in Byron Bay, is best known for playing Thor in eight Marvel films, beginning with Thor (2011) and most recently appearing in Avengers: Endgame (2019).
He first rose to prominence on Australian television series Home and Away (2004-2007), before going on to star in Hollywood with films such as Star Trek (2009), Snow White and the Huntsman (2012), and Red Dawn (2012).
Have you spotted him in the Upper Hunter? If so, let us know.
