Motorists can expect to face changed traffic conditions this week, with maintenance work commencing at Bennetts Green.
The intersection of the Newcastle Inner City Bypass and Pacific Highway will be affected as Transport for NSW carries out work including asphalt patching, resurfacing and marking reinstatement.
The work will be carried out between 7pm and 5am from Sunday 19 July, and is expected to be completed in two nights, weather permitting.
Eastbound and westbound vehicle movements through the intersection of the Pacific Highway and Newcastle Inner City Bypass will be closed, including right turn onto the Pacific Highway from the Pacific Highway.
Vehicles will be required to follow traffic controller directions and detour signage.

Traffic control, single lane closures and a reduced speed limit of 40km/h will also be in place for the duration of maintenance.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control. For more information on the work, download the Live Traffic NSW app or phone 132 701.
