Car lovers, rev your engines.
Classic cars will be arriving at The Levee in Maitland on Saturday 24 October for a ‘Cars of the World’ event.
Thirty vehicles, representing manufacturing from Australia, the European Union, United Kingdom, Japan and the United States, will be on show.
The display, provided by Maitland Classic Motor Association, will showcase some of the finest cars produced in the 20th Century, including Jaguars, Datsuns, Porsches, Cadillacs, Holdens and Fords.
The Levee Public Programs Officer, David Graham, says it’s hoped people will also visit the great mix of local businesses in the area.
“This is a great chance for the community to get together, in a COVID Safe way, and support small businesses,” he said.
The Levee Shared Zone will be closed to traffic during ‘Cars of the World.’
People attending are asked to use a QR Code contact tracing system, which will be displayed throughout the space, and adhere to social distancing.
The cars will be on show from 9am to 3pm.
