Bimbadgen welcomes name change

One of the Hunter Valley’s most popular wineries is welcoming a name change this week.

Home to events, weddings, accommodation, cellar door and a renowned restaurant, Bimbadgen’s also gaining a reputation for its locally-produced wines.

In fact, three of the estate’s products received honours at this year’s Hunter Valley Wine Show.

Now, after 50 years of producing award-winning reds and whites, the Pokolbin venue has decided to rebrand its local, homegrown range, as The Growers Range.

Bimbadgen launches The Growers Range.

The winery, which is owned by property and hospitality group Mulpha, is hoping the new look will broaden its appeal and more clearly differentiate the portfolios range of wines and price points.

It’s upcoming release of vintages of the 2022 Vermentino, 2022 Rosé, a 2021 Shiraz Cabernet, will all be sporting the latest look.

Bright pink and lime in colour, the new labels, with a signature large letter ‘B’ at its centre, look young and fresh.

Bimbadgen’s head winemaker Richard Done says that’s exactly what they’d hoped for.

“Growers Range is fresh, fun and approachable, with a price point to match, and this will give us the brand architecture to expand its footprint,” he said.

The new branding is an extension of Bimbadgen’s increasing portfolio in the Hunter Valley.

In November 2021 the group purchased neighbouring Emma Cottage Vineyard.

Mulpha Australia’s portfolio includes InterContinental Hayman Island Resort, Intercontinental Hotel Sydney, Sanctuary Cove Resort and Bimbadgen winery.

As well as developing the master planned communities of Bella Vista in the Hills District and Mulgoa Rise in Western Sydney, Mulpha Australia is transforming the 377-hectare Norwest Business Park into a world-leading innovation, lifestyle, and economic hub.

Bimbadgen’s The Growers Range will be available from now at the Bimbadgen Cellar Door and website, as well as from selected stockists and venues in coming months.
