Beresfield woman left breathless after $1 million win

A Beresfield woman was left shaking and breathless before even making it to her pilates class after a $1 million windfall sent her heart racing.

The local resident held the only division one winning entry nationally in Weekday Windfall draw 4515, on Monday 3 March, and pocketed a cool $1,002,524.50 for her troubles.

When an official from The Lott called with the life-changing revelation, the merry mother couldn’t help but weep with happiness.

“Oh my god. Oh my god. Stop it,” she said.

“I’ve got tears in my eyes. Thank you so much.

“I was just thinking the other day if I should stop playing.

“I’ve been playing for years, but I’ve never won a big prize until now.

“I was just getting ready to go to pilates.

“Wait until I tell my kids.

“They always say, ‘you’ll never win!’”

Amid the excitement, the jubilant Novocastrian was too stunned to make any immediate decisions with her newfound lottery loot.

“Oh, my goodness. One million dollars!” she cheered.

“You always wait for the day but now that it’s here, I’m in total shock.

“It means so much to me.

“I can’t even describe it, but it’s going to help so much.”

Her winning four-game System 7 entry was purchased via The Lott app.

The numbers in Weekday Windfall draw 4515 were 4, 21, 6, 15, 8 and 42 with the supplementaries 33 and 7.

The Lott’s division one winning tally has now reached 323 so far in FY25, including 87 snared by NSW Lotteries customers.
