Ben Lee performing at 2024 Live Music Lake Mac series… and that’s the way he likes it

Ben Lee is expected to draw record audience numbers to Warners Bay Theatre baramayiba in August when he takes to the stage as part of the 2024 Live Music Lake Mac series.

The multi-ARIA winning Australian singer-songwriter promises a night of romantic anthems, clever wordplay and indie pop classics as part of his enticing repertoire.

The performance falls on the eve of Lee announcing his new solo album This One’s For the Old Heads, to be released on his very own Weirder Together Records later this year.

Described as a “national treasure”, Rolling Stone magazine recently declared the Catch My Disease hit maker as “just getting started”.

Ben Lee is coming to the Hunter region, August 2024

For those who’ve not yet experienced a live performance by Lee, rest assured his gigs always guarantee an evening of pure fun.

Presented by Craft Music, he joins a line-up of quality music acts making up the itinerary for the 2024 Live Music Lake Mac series.

Other notables include Buddy Knox Project and Darlinghurst.

Recognised as Australia’s own BB King and one of our finest First Nations guitarist, Knox and his band will deliver a world-class blues show on 24 July at Warners Bay Theatre.

The show is a culmination of stories of Buddy’s life experiences plus favourite blues covers from Chuck Berry, BB King and Johnny Cash. Buddy Knox is presented by HIT Productions.

Closing out the 2024 series in October is Golden-Guitar winning band Darlinghurst.

Their self-titled debut album entered the ARIA Australian Country Albums Chart at No. 1 and brings their refined songwriting, a keen ear for melody, relatable lyricism and exceptional performances to stages Australia-wide.

Darlinghurst is presented by HIT Productions and Premier Artists.

Ben Lee performs at Warners Bay Theatre on Thursday 22 August.
